SDC132: Winged Things

Today over at Stampotique Designer's Challenge our hostess Arwen has us flying away:

Wings have something mystical for me.
Angels have wings, fairies, my favorite animal: the bat :)
Love and positive feelings give wings.
Today I would like to see what gives you wings.
I am very curious about your creations.

SDC131: Stars Take Two

Today we are continuing our challenge of Stars (so please feel free to play again if you did last week) and we've invited our Designer's Blog team to join us.  Here's what Sam Read had to say about her challenge last week:

I don't know one person who doesn't enjoy looking at the stars. Stars fill us with a sense of fascination and wonderment. Earliest societies mapped and traced stars. The speed of light is 186,000 miles per second and because stars are so distant, many of them millions of light years away means we look in to the sky from the distant past. Therefore I am inviting you to use stars in your creation this week, as the main image or as an accent. I can't wait to see what you make, have fun!

**Please read new rule instituted with this challenge-we will no longer be accepting digi stamp creations as part of our challenges.  Stampotique is a red rubber stamp company and we prefer to see creations with stamps versus those with digital creations.  These entries will be deleted and will not be eligible for the prize.  Thank you for understanding.**

SDC130: Something New

Our hostess this week is Kaz and here is what she is challenging you with the following:

I am just a little bit nosey, so for this challenge I'd like you to use something that Santa brought you! Don't worry if you didn't get crafty stash, just use something that you recently bought for yourself. If you really want to, you could make something with the theme of something new as well. Just make sure you enjoy making it.

Just a reminder to read the instructions for linking below.

SDC129: Happy New Year! Anything Goes

Happy New Year!  We are kicking off the new year with our first guest designer of 2014 as well as our first challenge.

First up our Guest Designer...Introducing Pauline Adamson:

Happy New Year.  My name is Pauline and I live in Carnoustie, Scotland. My main passion is paper crafts and making photograph albums.  I absolutely love getting lost in the creativity of crafting and I love to share my ideas and hopefully inspire you as I have been by some very talented and inspirational crafters from around the world.  I am a very late discoverer of paper crafts only starting on this amazing journey in June 2012 so I still have so much to learn.  I hope you enjoy my projects as much as I adore all of yours.

Keep your eye out as this month as we show off Pauline's creations.

As for our first challenge, Kim is keeping the theme alive with Anything Goes.  It's always nice to be able to create whatever you wish to with my Stampotique stamps and so we want to see you get creative with whatever you wish to.

Wishing you all a safe and happy new year!  Just a reminder to read the instructions for linking below.
